Official questionExamen Civique
Dans quelle ville les rois de France étaient-ils couronnés ?
In which city were the kings of France crowned?
Correct answer
Reims
Reims
Why
Most kings of France were crowned (sacrés) in Reims cathedral, following the tradition of the baptism of Clovis in Reims. Versailles was the royal residence under Louis XIV, not the coronation city. From the official naturalisation knowledge-question list.
