Official questionExamen Civique
Une femme peut-elle créer son entreprise ?
Can a woman set up her own business?
Correct answer
Oui, librement, comme un homme
Yes, freely, just like a man
Why
Women have exactly the same rights as men to work and run a business; since a 1965 law a married woman no longer needs her husband's consent to work or open a bank account. Equality between women and men is a constitutional principle. From the official naturalisation knowledge-question list.
