Official questionExamen Civique
Où peut-on déposer un lave-vaisselle cassé ?
Where can you leave a broken dishwasher?
Correct answer
À la déchetterie
At the recycling centre (déchetterie)
Why
Large appliances go to the déchetterie, or back to the shop, which must take an old appliance free of charge when you buy a new one. Leaving bulky waste in the street outside organised collections is punished by a fine. From the official carte de résident knowledge-question list.
